May we be
renewed upon
the Earth
from the fires
bright light
to be
heart to heart
and
hand in hand.
As we wrapped up 2024, we reviewed our calendar. We were away from home and the studio for an unbelievable number of days this year. These adventures were all good things; an incredible artist residency in Wyoming, visits with wonderful kids and precious grand kids in Seattle, Portland, and the Midwest, two family reunions, escapades with fantastic friends, sojourns on a beach or three, a couple of weddings, trips to several mountains that needed hiking and more.
The return to Mira and our own Wisconsin home fires, helped us assimilate the gifts these adventures bestowed. Home offered us perspective and a chance to appreciate our amazing planet and the incredible love extended to us.
As we all prepare to meet this next season, let us be the fire that burns bright for each other and those who may need a compassionate heart or a helping hand.
