Edges, boundaries, and intersections have been at the heart of our artistic expression for more than 20 years. In a world that is full of polarizations, we see boundaries and edges not as divisions, but as places of potential that hold tension and allow something new to rise from struggle.
How can we form and sustain communities of love and trust that foster creativity? This Fall, we will be part of Central’s series of conversations, workshops, and lectures with leaders from our community who can illuminate paths forward in the arts, policymaking, and justice-seeking. We will be participating in the conversation, followed by a workshop, presentation and an exhibition of our art.

Our series of paintings explore how we fit into the Earth’s history. We wonder if our conception of time affects the way we think and behave as we process the mysterious flexibility of time. These many moving parts of the galaxy or the planet creates tension as they connect or collide. Tension creates the gift of knowledge and creates energy where we engage and learn.
We have been invited to bring our workshop, Spirit Taking Shape to The Landing MN and create a space for their guests with our Creative Day Away.

Using language of shape, symbol, color, and the sounds of nature, we will reach into the landscape of the earth and deeper, into our silence, to touch where Spirit takes form. We will create space to listen and respond not only to our own inner voice but also to hear the stories of others.
